How to Install Backup & Restore Dropbox Plugin, Manually
Perform a new installation using FTP
- Upload the plugin folder
Dropbox Backup to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation. - Activate the plugin through the
Plugins menu in WordPress
Perform a new manual installation of Dropbox backup and restore plugin
After downloading the ZIP file of the Dropbox back up and restoration plugin,
- Log in to your administrator panel;
- Go to Plugins Add > New > Click the button “Upload”;
- Click on “Choose file” (or “Browse”, to browse the plugin zip-archive) and select the downloaded zip file of the Dropbox back up and restoration plugin;
For Mac Users
Go to your Downloads folder and locate the folder with the name “dropbox backup”. Right-click on this folder and select Compress. Now you have a newly created .zip file which can be installed as described here. - Click on “Install Now” button. Dropbox back up and restore pugin will be installed;
- Click on link “Activate Plugin” to activate the “Dropbox backup and restore” plugin;
