How to Install BuddyPress Global Search Plugin, Manually
From your WordPress dashboard
- Visit ‘Plugins > Add New’
- Search for ‘BuddyPress Global Search’
- Activate BuddyPress Global Search from your Plugins page.
From WordPress.org
- Download BuddyPress Global Search.
- Upload the ‘buddypress-global-search’ directory to your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory, using your favorite method (ftp, sftp, etc…)
- Activate BuddyPress Global Search from your Plugins page.
Configuration
- Visit ‘Settings > BP Global Search’ and select which components should be searchable.
- Adjust the CSS of your theme as needed, to make everything pretty.
